Which ELD are you using?

I had RM at first, kept freezing up and was pretty much crap, company switched to JJ Keller, which made RM look good, JJ Keller not only froze, it would put you on duty half way through a 10, erase a day off logs and show you off duty and other wonderful stunts. I switched companies and used Keep Truckin, never had an issue at all. Now leased to Admiral Merchants and using Omnitracs IVG, works good most of the time but I definitely would rather have Keep Trucking.

 

I had vdo for 2 years and switched to drive eld easy to use and have not had any problems with them yet with 2 months of use and if you have any questions for them they actually pick up the phone or call you right back.

 

Blue Ink Tech BIT. One time up front cost and responsive customer service. It does not have many bells & whistles but it works and it is reasonably priced.

 

Curious, I use JJ Keller, as well. Do you know which version you used? I don't have those problems with my unit. But I've hard of them.

 

I do not remember, it was an app that I used with a dedicated tablet. It was horrible. Everyone in the company had some kind of issues.

 

sounds like the same system I use. I have SOME issues, from time to time. Usually when they forget to pay the phone company data fees. Or if I haven't updated for a long time.

That's what I use too. It has some bugs but they all do. The up front price with no extra charges is legit and it makes you legal. No better option I see.

 

I was using VDO, but they are shutting it down, they have an offer if I switch to KeepTruckin where the hardware is free and we get 6 month free for the subscription, then it's $35 a Month after that... VDO was an awesome system for me, wish they'd stuck around!
