I would say Goodyear. Yokohama does make a very good drive tire. I have them. Have 200k on them, should get the rest of the year out of themPE_T Thanks this.

Yoko used to have 2 different steers. The cheaper ones are even squirreller than Goodyear’s. Why only 2 choices?
PE_T Thanks this. -
Firestone steers are a very nice choice! I like them better then yokes!
BigHossVolvo, stillwurkin, Brettj3876 and 4 others Thank this. -
I agree, I run them on my truck. Actually got 170 out of themDeere hunter and Rideandrepair Thank this.

This one shop that I'm getting tires tomorrow from has this 2 brands for almost the similar price. I know Michelin is better but I will be fine with one of this 2.Rideandrepair Thanks this.

Never had good luck with any truck I drove with Goodyear steers. Like Deere hunter sez, Firestone ( or Bridgestone, same thing, I think) were the best, and I tried them all. Michelin were okay, got great miles out of them, but always seemed "slippery" and wasn't worth the extra cost, I felt. I think Cooper makes a good tire too, but also pricey.
Deere hunter, Rideandrepair and Iwtbrandh Thank this. -
I might take the Yokos, over Goodyear’s. Have to compare side by side. I did get good wear and mileage from a set of Goodyear steers on my Trailer, more than once.Tough choice. The last Yokos Steers I had were the cheaper of the 2 style Steers. They were terrible. I stick with Firestone 591s. Good value.
Brettj3876, Deere hunter and 201 Thank this. -
Both are junk. Get Bridgestones.spindrift, Rideandrepair and Brettj3876 Thank this.
