Hey truckers how’s it going, I have a 2007 w900 my oil temperature rises up to 240 when loaded and coolant is around 180-190 isn’t it too high for the oil temperature or is it normal? Can it be the oil cooler that needs to be replaced thank you

Seems high to me. Has it been this way before? Guage and sending unit ok, or wiring? Could be oil cooler. Seen a sorta plugged one once, at the end of it. But think that was due to long intervals of oil changes? Not sure. Have you just had it worked on? Sometimes things other than why repairs were made get screwed up. You know like someone had a wrench slip or put their hand or foot some where for leverage while pulling on a breaker bar etc.Moephilly1 Thanks this.
