Some reefers are pretty loud, and along with your APU noise, and other tractors around you...it might take you a bit to get used to it and be able to sleep. I use ear plugs, which seem to help enough to get me to sleep. When you get tired enough, I promise you will fall asleep. Other factors to consider are that you will be driving many nights, so after you park in the day during summer, it will be hotter in the cab when you nod off. Good Luck to you.

    Jarhed1964 and FloridaBoy93 Thank this.

Not at all. At home I sleep with fans and TVs and everything else going on. I sleep through everything. The APU and the reefer don’t bother me. Even when it’s on start stop mode. In fact I think it helps me sleep better.

Everything’s going great. Just wanted to let everyone know how awesome this company is. Today is my 27th birthday, I got a phone call from the freymiller main line, I wasn’t sure what it was about, it was Don Freymiller on the other end. Never have I ever worked somewhere where anyone says anything. Much less the owner. It might not mean much to some but it does to me

I will. I usually don’t have time to get on here cause I’m driving or learning peoplenet and paperwork, or sleeping. Lol but so far everything’s doing great. They told me average length of haul is 1100 miles. I think my shortest load so far has been 850, that was just to get us out of atlanta. They usually give you plenty of time on loads. Which you’ll either love or hate. Idk much about the dry side but with reefer it seems like you’re either sitting still or pounding the pavement. But even now, nearly a month later, everything they’ve told me has stuck. Nothing negative to report as of yet.
