Just hit up Ritchie Bros in Alberta. Lots of ex-patch trucks going up on the block. Smaller bunks are the norm in the patch.D.Tibbitt, Brettj3876, Deere hunter and 1 other person Thank this.

I see schlumberger is getting some new units in. They pop up on the truck paper from time to time but i doubt he wants 5.13 rears hahaD.Tibbitt Thanks this.

Probably not lol.
Only thing with patch trucks is they'd probably be overspec'd for a typical OTR operation. 3/8" frames, 18 speed, 46k rears, 4 way lockers and a heavier steer axle.Sirscrapntruckalot, tommymonza, D.Tibbitt and 1 other person Thank this. -

Here's an ex BJ well services truck. Only 48k. I don't know about now but they used to have a really good maintenance program. The mileage is probably right, most of schlumberger's equipment 5-7 years old had less than 100k on em.
Wouldn't pay that. Guy around me running dumps has 3 he added to his fleetD.Tibbitt Thanks this. -
24k was the empty weight of 367 36in bunk, 230wb. Heavier drive line (super 40s?) 12/40k but for some reason they didn't spec full lockers. Tough as nails and imo they rode niceAModelCat Thanks this.
