    Hi,

    Does coffee make you crash the way energy drinks do after an hour or so? I might need a little pick me up today and my experience with energy drinks is they make me crash after awhile/sometimes don’t work at all; I drink coffee straight black, but I can’t recall if it made me sleepy or not like those energy drinks.

    I seem to do better when I don’t drink coffee or energy drinks but after 16 hours behind the wheel I always “think” it’s a better idea to grab an energy drink to keep me going ...

    Imo, its best not to get started on the energy drink routine. For 7 years I drank one every day and became hooked on em'. They would make me irritable and stressed feeling but I couldn't stop drinking them, and they eventually caused numbness in my hands and feet and stomach issues I believe, but not totally sure if that was caused by drinking energy drinks. Finally got off of em' couple years ago. Also be aware that the high niacin content is hard on your liver, especially if you drink more then one a day.

    I hope nobody thinks I’m messing around; I’m getting my truck serviced, wrote up one of those reports and sent a message over the Qualcomm explaining what’s going on; I’ve been off duty for about 40 hours now

    I prefer coffee, but it makes me need to go use the bathroom after I drink a whole cup and I didn’t want to hear my trainer complain about me pulling over to water some grass on the shoulder
