Driving the big-rigs in snow and ice

    Yep, it's that time boys and girls, the first official snow fall of the season for Colorado :biggrin_25521:. Snow as low as 7,000 ft, 1 to 3" posisble, primarily on the grassy surfaces, not really effecting the roads. Time to get those TAD (traction aiding devices) ready.

    Yup, we have a front moving thru here tomarrow ! Not sure if we'll see any snow, but ya never know !!!!!

    Folks said anything above 7,000 feet got flurries and/or snow. Colorado Springs had flurries and where my folks live they ended up with 2" total. Still calling for snow tonight and tomorrow. They have their woodstove going and the high was 32 degrees at their house today.

    My friend told me that there was snow in wyoming today as well.

    I can upload some pics from 2 weeks ago of 3 inches of snow, at 2,000ft. Drove for 4.5 hours today while it was snowing....glad winter is back!
