    The opti ldle needs to be reset so that it will Idle when hot. The shop will probably get it set for you. Just so you know, the espar heater will not blow AC. Some on here mean well but dont have a clue.

    Look inside the cab for bag with manual books. Read it. Don't listen individuals who advise you to turn on heater when you need cooler.

    That Espar is just for heat. It has nothing to do with a/c. You turn it on in the winter and burns the diesel in fuel tanks and blow hot air into sleeper.

    Did you start the engine and wait till that check engine light starts to flash at the last 30 seconds before it shuts down. Did the light flash like they said it should in the last 30 seconds ?
