It’s a bit on the thick side but I just had so much trouble sleeping on what they gave me. There’s nothing I really need from under the bunk anyway. Bye Xbox.

I have heard some good things about the Purple mattresses but they are pricey. From $600 up to $1750 for a twin xl. @WesternPlains weren't you looking into get one of theses at one time?
WesternPlains and farmerjohn64 Thank this. -
Less than $200 if I rememberfarmerjohn64 Thanks this.

I'll second the memory foam toppers from walmart. I got a 3" for like $65 and my bed is actually almost as comfortable as the one at home (Hilux foam mattress).
farmerjohn64 Thanks this. -
Dont you get really hot laying on it during summer months? I had one I bought from target and it was way to hot as they dont breathe. I tossed it.
Mypillow sells mattress toppers but they are $200. Good reviews on them but, I think putting that money towards a new quality mattress would make more sense.farmerjohn64 Thanks this. -

They're definitely prohibitively expensive for some people, but after getting a purple 3 for the house I have never had less body aches. I got the Athlete Silver when I couldn't get a purple twin and the only reason I'm not returning it is the worthless anal sphincter who had the truck originally was a smoker and the plastic still sweats tar at times. As a result the mattress picked up 2 nicotine stains and I can't return the bed.farmerjohn64 Thanks this.

I was concerned about that too, especially with how hot i sleep, but it's been fine for me. Having said that, my company allows us to idle as much as we want, so I crank the bunk AC up to max before i go to sleep.farmerjohn64 and JonJon78 Thank this.
