Random LTL Rants (all are welcomed)

Nothing like waiting around for dispatch to figure out where I'm going

 

To add to my rant. After finally getting a trailer and getting to my next stop, I had to wait another hour for dispatch to figure out what they're gonna do about another driver taking my trailer. It took them an hour to tell me to just hook the trailer he was SUPPOSED to take to my set and drag it with me back home. "It's going north anyways".

 

@Riffraff37 wait I think I missed the first part of your rant. Were you on a linehaul run?

Yeah man, I go south, stop at one of the bigger terminals, then they send me further south to another big terminal and pretty much have me back track and stop at all the smaller terminals on my way back to my home terminal. Typically I'm stopping at 3-4 different terminals a night.

Being a holiday weekend though everyone was in a rush to get out of there and one terminal didn't have any trailers for me, and at another terminal another linehaul driver pulled the wrong trailer which happened to be the one I was suppose to take. The dispatcher working didn't know what to do so I ended up having to wait like an hour just for them to tell me to take the trailer that the other guy was suppose to take.

 

Be safe everyone. My cousins boyfriend lost his life to mishandling fireworks last week. If you’re gonna light fireworks do it sober.

 

It’s absolutely wild how many people are setting off fireworks in my neighborhood. It’s been going non-stop for over an hour and a half now. And that’s with it being illegal to use them here.

I wonder how much slower things will be on Monday without all the fireworks sales.

 

Don't even have to buy fireworks if your neighbors do!
