Do you have any truck stop rewards cards? Wow....your trainer really didn't teach you ####!!!! Get rewards cards from every truck stop

 

Yeah that's the first thing your trainer should had have you done at each different truck stop. There is 3 main ones you want:

1) Loves
2) Pilot / Flying J
3) TA

Each of these have rewards cards and is as simple as going to the cashier and asking to sign up for one. This is how you get free showers and free stuff basically. You use it every time you fuel and you get points. You can then use them for showers or buy things in the store with them.

 

You have been taking showers haven't you Farmerjohn??? I hope you haven't been paying for them!! LOL : )

 

He did team showers w/his trainer. Learned quickly not to drop the soap. lol

When I came out of retirement in 2017 and ran all over the country for 14 months, I dug up an old Cobra 19, I think it was, but it quit after about a week. I contemplated on what to get....but then made the decision to run without one. It was nothing like in the days past and I decided that it was much easier to keep my mouth shut with all the unprofessionalism that I saw out there.

Funny thing is, I enjoyed the solitude and never missed it. But, I rarely even listen to the radio. Quieter the better.

I forget what I did with the shippers and receivers that required one to check in on a certain channel.

 

Seldom run into that anymore, last Walmart in Arkansas I did that at told them to loan me one lol.
