    That green stuff never pays good ... the only lumber i have found worth my time is the stuff that is cut to spec for certain builds. Even then sometimes its hard to get a good price

    Green lumber pays less but we can haul 105,500 gross weight. Usually a 40' and a 20' double flats.

    Kiln dried lumber (or KD) means that with out the moisture, it will have shrunk the most. When you build interior walls? One should be using KD lumber.
    PAD (Partially Air Dried) is fine for decks and open air areas where the lumber can still absorb atmospheric air.
    Tho when I build stuff, I prefer to build with KD. Even if it may reabsorb some moisture. Tho outside I generally only use pressure treated lumber (CCA)
