I have had more email, text, phone calls, and in person meeting in the past 72 hours than I think I have had in the last 60 days. But on the bright side, I have gotten nearly everything required for closing done.... I use the term "nearly" very loosely, as I know there will probably be more required of me after the appraisal is completed.

I'm really glad I had my ducks in a row before I started this process. My realtor told me that what i have done in 3 days usually takes 10 to 14 days...

On old iron, that’s a good way to get your arm broken.

Did you tell the realtor it's because you're a truck driver? You're used to it.

Geesh guys.... It was 100 out today. Only got up to 83 here in the house. And the thermometer doesn't have the air blowing on it from the swamp cooler. Love that thing....

Good that you know the difference.

Just remember that when your power steering quits, it’s not the same as old school armstrong steering. It’s worse.

Unfortunately I had to have that argument with an idiot dispatcher at work who claimed to once be a driver.

Whether you had a 220 Cummins or a screamin' Jimmy, You had to shift both sticks at the same time or the RPM would fall off seriously lugging the engine. It would not pick up the next gear if you shift one then the other. GVW was 72,000 then. 1673 CATs weren't much better.
When Cummins came out with the 335, wow what a difference!
