Stopped at Oak Grove 70 based on recommendation from here... witnessed a driver pull out of a parking spot and turn too quick, way too quick, and rammed his steps on the passenger side right into one of those huge blocks of concrete... moved it like two feet. I still can’t believe he turned like that... even if his truck missed it his trailer would have caught it.

DnH in Evansville IL anytime tomorrow then take that trailer on to NC for live unload at 9pm Monday night. A full solid two day drive with three days to get there... should be a relaxing little cruise eastward.

I take it the stress level is lower for you so far. It should stay that way, too!

    dwells40 and mushroom1464 Thank this.

Well my stress level was slightly raised today. I emptied out in Newnan GA and dispatch gives me a load this afternoon to pickup in Ringgold GA to deliver in Valley NE tomorrow by midnight. Spent two hours getting from Calhoun to Newnan and more than 2 from Newnan to Ringgold. Pickup at 3pm and drove to Ina IL and backed into a spot at the new tiny Speedway (all of 6 spots) across from Loves with just two minutes left on my 14. 546 miles to Valley. It just became more manageable.

hey I think I saw you on 285 yesterday going north. I was going south stuck in that clusterfudge from the pointless lane closures. I also delivered in Newnan, but my appointment was this morning.

After dropping my load in CB, I grabbed an empty and picked up a load in Lincoln Saturday going to Brasselton, Georgia for this morning at 0700. After getting empty I wasn’t preplanned, so I went over to the S-hole of a pilot to wait further instruction. I’m scheduled to be home this Friday, so I figured this was the hold up. About 45 minutes later I get a load picking up In Cowpens, SC going to St. Cloud, Minnesota. After a phone call with dispatch it’s determined I will go make the pick up and head towards St. Louis for a swap on Wednesday.

Ok, guys. I read back 30 pages, but didn't find the info I need. Thinking about applying. So, here are my questions:

1.What does fcc pay? I have 5 years experience.
2.are they going to make me get a new dot physical? Current one doesn't expire for 9 months.
    Thanks,
    Steve

.52 cpm plus bonuses. Unless, it's changed.

And yes to the new physical.

The starting pay is based on experience and work history. If you are a job hopper (like I was before coming here) your starting pay will be less than a driver that’s a had a solid work history. They will require you to get a new physical.

    Until today... lol

Hard unload time of 9pm... sitting 7 hours away... left out at noon with a “two hour cushion”... what’s the saying about best laid plans?

not one... not two... but THREE areas of congestion and roadwork totally consumed a majority of my cushion. Forcing me to then have to use a 30 to reset my 8...

got here in time but I was a bit worried...
