I kinda believe the banning theory. I don’t believe he would/ could actually stay away on his own.

Kyle G. and homeskillet Thank this.

H e quit the forum before on his own but came back for whatever reason. I wasn't aware he's gone again. He's had medical issues he's talked about on here.

Never figured out if he was old or not. Had some old info, but stated he went to driving school in 2000. We all enjoy a good story. But I cant respect someone that indirectly or purposely gives out bad advise to people needing help.

He gave out dangerously wrong info.

Still wish no harm to the person.

Doesn't matter accurate or not. Ole X was entertaining. And his posts made War and Peace, Les Miserables, and The Huntchback of Notre Dame seem like short stories.

Adn I think he quit driving in 2000 something. He started with Dinosaurs.

If I could find it, he replied to me telling me he went to driving school in 2000.

    Please do....
I need to find where he told me about his 200 Horse Power Brontosaurus. Which he regrets to this day, trading in for a T-Rex. It was hell. Couldn't keep him on the road. :laughing-guffaw:
Then things settled down with the 20 mule team. Here's a drawing of him that I have. They didn't have camera's yet. OykDIOt3QTOQmqcetHb2xQ.jpg

yes, it was very difficult for us to start back then. like today's drivers, if given a choice between a cab-over or a conventional, many would choose the conventional.

back then, we had choices too, herbivores or carnivorous eaters.

when in orientation, many companies "push" carnivorous dinosaurs, as a better way to get the job done, cuz if you didn't work hard and for many hours a day, the dinosaur would eat you.

many of us chose herbivores, so that if we were not working hard, we got a reprieve, and did not get eaten.

sorta like todays, "lease purchase plans".........

drivers like me and X1, were smarter than the average drivers, we stayed "company" over lease operators.
