We use a lot of different lucus products here. We have never had that problem. Maybe just a bad bottle.

I just run my Schaeffers grease on the fifth wheel...that stuff is almost like taffy. I never knew that the Lucas stuff was to be used with your normal grease. Kinda defeats the purpose and adds extra cost in my mind if a operation does a lot of drop and hook.

    Oldironfan Thanks this.

    Slick Disc...:biggrin_25522:
Another thing I used to do is mix gear oil and tube grease in a can.

they work great when you are under the same trailer all the time (slick disc)

as far as lucas fifth wheel lube i was dissapointed as well because of the liquidity issue

but i like most of their other products

HI PT: Which schaeffer grease are you using on your fifth wheel? I keep trying different things looking for the perfect lube, but no luck yet....:biggrin_25513:
