Yea just like anything else, when ya stop or wanna do something different just remember to change your duty status. Man i really miss paper logs. Life was so much simpler then. My opinion anyway.

Yea i was. Now we're in danville with ice cream mix from smith foods to deliver at 01:00. Then gotta run up here to the truck stop an recover a truck an drag it home with us an then take it to the yard sunday. Guess the driver took a random the other day then called later an told climate he wasn't gonna pass it. So he's fired.Lumper Humper Thanks this.

Nah i got some salmonella tacos from Chipotle. It hurts yo lol
-
That Chipotle go hard lol, but it works fast, maybe faster than Iron Skillet or Country PrideLumper Humper Thanks this.

It's doing pretty much the same -- runs for an hour or so and then shuts down. If I start it again it only runs about 30 seconds before shutting off. Now the display's starting to read "check APU engine." Thank goodness this truck will idle without me having to do anything but crank it up. Guess that's one of the good things about having an older truck.

I agree. I guess the ELD makes some things simpler, but I sometimes have to do stupid/frustrating things to avoid violations.bryan21384 and Professor No-Name Thank this.

I ain't going to lie man..I like the ELD a lot better than paper. The only disadvantage of the ELD is if your close to home and you have to wait it out but for the most part, I like it better. I'd never go back to paper, of course it's coming from a guy that hates doing paperwork.Metacoyote and Lumper Humper Thank this.

I'd go back to paper in a heartbeat if given the chance. But then again I've always ran outlaw up until i went to work at climate. I always just ran however i wanted an worried about loggin it later.Metacoyote and azheavyduty Thank this.

I'm detecting a frustrating pattern here. This is my 3rd weekend with Climate and each Friday I have picked up a load that I could have delivered on Saturday, but have had to babysit it over the weekend and deliver it on Monday. Does this happen with any of y'all? Are shippers and receivers not open on weekends anymore?
Lumper Humper Thanks this. -
Mmmmmm depends. I dropped a load off earlier today. Where did you pick up and where is it going?Metacoyote Thanks this.
