I have a pretty nice truck and trailer I need to sell simply because my brokerage authority has really taken off and I just don't have the time to drive that much anymore. What is the best way to sell your equipment? I took an ad on Commercial Truck Trader got a free online posting from truck paper. The truck paper wants too much money to upgrade your listing to premium which is the paper edition of it. I am not sure if that is the route I want to take.
Looking for Ideas from the OO community. I know when I was looking for a truck to buy there was plenty of overpriced junk out there. I am not trying to blow my own horn but relatively speaking my equipment is in excellent condition and fairly priced.
I look forward to your ideas and suggestions.

If it needs to be gone take it to an auction if you believe it has hidden value do the normal listing and talk to numerous strokers then 9 months from now swallow your pride and take to auction getting even less than today. Auction = real cash value today. Everything else is a stroke fest and is the dealers game that you’re probably not equipped to play.

Thank you I did not know they had a place to advertise trucks and trailers for sale. Can you please paste the link here in case I cannot find it.

That is also an option I bought it at Richie's Auction and let me tell you they are not any less expensive than retail!Wespipes and Dale thompson Thank this.

I must say this, I would have jumped on an OO Truck and Trailer when I was looking for one. I ended up buying my trailer from a dealer that was shutting down the dealership. But if I were a serious buyer, most dealers stuff is junk that is just my recent honest to goodness experience. I can send them to transport finance companies and buy a 6-month warranty on the truck as well as dealers can. I will give Richies Auction a call.
Dale thompson Thanks this. -
Sad to say but yes. I mean the $$$ and lifestyle is much better than driving. I mean I can sit home and move a couple of loads a day and I make much more than driving! Plus you get to dish out this ridiculous one-way rate cons all day to poor carriers. I enjoyed driving but got my carrier authority and shortly thereafter my brokerage and started hunting down shippers. I avoided most brokers and it paid off.
