last experience I had with Cargill was in Mt. Crawford, Va and it was bad. Never would go back in there.
After sitting at the loading dock for 12 hrs and not one pallet had been put in my trailer, I walked into the shipping office and ask the shipping clerk how long was it going to be. I told him I had an appointment in 29 hours and it was almost 1300 miles. His reply, "that is your problem". I solved "my problem" real fast. I LEFT!motocross25 Thanks this. -
it depends where you live. TX and KS are, by far, the best. They run you empty too much and too much sitting between loads. They have some outstanding rates, but after DH of hundreds of miles, or 36 hours until your next load, it’s not enough revenue.

Average is 14900 a month since March at Cargill, gross to the truck. It’s not enough for me to pay a guy well and run good equipment. It works if you have a cheap driver or YOU are the cheap driver.
Orange713, Dale thompson, Lonesome and 1 other person Thank this. -
Used to work for them. It got real bad. Spoke to a driver last week he said its worse. I guess working for the shipper isn't all cracked up to be.
