Thank you. The mechanic that came said it shouldn’t have been that hard to pull out. He had a hard time with it himself. He snuck up on me and almost had it done before I even saw him. Had to have him do it again just so I could see how it worked. This video definitely helps. Guess I have to do some strength training because pulling out and up isn’t an easy thing for me. (Get your minds outta the gutter!)MidWest_MacDaddy, gntorres61, Lonesome and 1 other person Thank this.

That’s how mine unlocks. You almost have to do that in one motion.

Get a crowbar hook it through the pull lever and tap it with a small sledge hammer. Had to have mine replaced too. Apparently, when I got rear ended it hairline fractured it which I did not see and started cracking apart with the heavy loads I pull. Lucky I didn't lose a trailer! Thought all my damage was the trailer. NOPE!

Seems more complicated than needed.
Must be one of them “new features”... lolLonesome Thanks this. -
When we moved, space in the moving truck got real tight towards the end... ended up giving my Weber to our neighbors down there... time to start looking for a replacement.
That Slow n Sear company has a new Weberesque model I might try out.
