    Hello. New to the forum.

I just bought a 2002 Volvo VHD. Both mirrors including the brackets have to be replaced. I can't for the life of me find a set of mirrors! I called the dealer and they can get a set, but will have to wait 1 month. There is nothing aftermarket that I can find.

I looked in a few salvage yards and found some, but they're not in great shape either.

Does anyone know where I can find a set, or if there are other Volvo models that will fit this VHD cab? Aren't all Volvo truck cabs in 2002 the same?

    I'd seriously appreciate the help!

Unfortunately, it's not as simple as truck years and cabs being the same. I have a 2012 VNL, and for some reason the driver's side mirror was going to cost $1300 just for the part. The insurance company for the guy who hit it refused to pay that much, so we started working together to find aftermarket solutions. When we ended up finding one that said it would fit a 2012 VNL, the electrical plugs and mounting holes fit, but the receiver for the support arm was mismatched. Luckily, I was able to go to the dealer and get the updated support hardware, and the insurance company reimbursed me for it.

Maybe if you're good at fabricating, you could buy a cheap universal mirror and build some arms for it until your part comes in.

    OP, got any pics?

I'd probably order them and get some cheap salvage ones for the time being, beat up or not, if you need to use the truck.

So I found a set of mirrors temporarily from a salvage yard. i guess I'll see if they actually heat and adjust. If they're ok, then i'll save a bit of cash.

From my knowledge Volvo uses same doors in all models give or take you can fit mirrors on there from 2001 to all the way up to 2018 I have a set here in Chicago from a junk truck I don’t know if you are local you can also order cheaper Chinese online but you get what u pay for.

Hi there. Canadian trucker here. Try Amazon.ca, .ca, not com, also look at PetaParts, 416 321 2223. They bring In parts from China. Much cheaper than volvo. My headlights, passenger side mirror, side fairing all came from this company.
