So a Wabash van is the best quality. At what point is a trailer structurally shot ?
Do they have a shelf-life more or less that you have to start questioning their integrity ?
If you can’t see daylight through the roof or floor and the doors close evenly and the walls are straight what else is there to worry about if it’s not a rusted mess underneath.Last edited: Aug 17, 2020

the problem is most brokers ask for newer trailer .no more than 9 years old .and that is why u find owner operators not wanting to deal with an older trailer .

So your trying to purchase 2 or more trailers and rent them out to Owner Operators? Most rental places I've dealt with charge at least $600 per month to rent a trailer.warrior12345 Thanks this.

Yes correct .

I'm not trying to burst your bubble but it just seems like a waste of money and maintenance fees. Why don't you take your $32k and put it in the stock market and double your money over night. I made $3000 in 5 minutes back before covid hit and I did it just $1000 so just imagine what $32k can do.warrior12345 Thanks this.

I’ve never had a trailer rejected and I’ve got some as old as 2003. They ask for new trailers all the time but if you maintain your trailer and fix it as needed it will work just fine. Not a single time has this ever been an issue.

Plus they will ask to be 'additionally insured' so they are named right in the policy and first in line to get theirs if there is a total loss.OldeSkool Thanks this.
