I've never been booted in 30 years of trucking.

63ECB128-16A2-4710-9119-9954178EEBEC.jpeg So I've heard stories over the years about evil walmarts and getting your truck booted with exorbitant fines etc. but I've never seen it in person or had it done to me.

I've parked at walmarts all over the entire country and I've actually never had any problems whatsoever until today.

The guy beating on my door at 130 in the morning was actually a real Dallas parking cop and not some third party company which I've heard stories about.

He said that he's 'only' charging me 100$ and it could've been 350$ for the tractor and trailer combined.

I was relatively nice to him and he actually removed that nasty sticker from the drivers side window as well.

So I guess I'd like to warn the rest of you not to park at the Walmart at ####rell rd and I-30 in Dallas Texas.

Take care and be safe out there folks

He booted you because of the color of your truck.

I got banged on and kicked out of the Pilot In Murfreesboro at 330 in the morning.

Directed to go to the motel across the street where I creeped over to and payed $30 to park 5 more hours.

Us truckers are the Scourge of Society.

    Accept it.

Doealex, TallJoe and Brettj3876 Thank this.

Raving ##### from hell from pilot cleared us all out.

Yeah I remember TA near Denver was particularly ugly. I got woke up there and had to move once.

I've just never been booted or actually seen it happen. At least it was only 100$

Sorry to hear that too, but no harm was intended, we're a bunch of goof-offs to begin with. Having Ol' Frank as your avatar, indicates you're pretty cool anyway.
It's a growing trend, and you may as well get used to it. Originally intended for families traveling, in need of a short pitstop for the night, and will most certainly blow a wad at the store when the sun comes up, but truckers took advantage of it, leaving the area a pig sty, and not spend a dime. Not all, but all it takes is one pig, and we're all pigs. I don't have an answer, it looks grim. They pass these stupid HOS laws, and no place to go. You guys are in a dilly of a pickle in the near future.
