I don't see how they can do this. A trucker's wife yes, but not a truckin mom. I could see the challenges of being on your own with someone else's kids and trying to set new rules, or follow the ones already set, but what is the point of sending another woman out on a truck unless she is a local driver and is home every night....
The communication and desire for running a household via telephone for a week is something that can only be done by someone linked to the family by blood or by marriage IMO. My children would not listen to someone from the phone that was not their mom or dad....

You people crack me up. Did you notice the original post said T.V. show? Trucking families, so each family would be a trucking family? And remember people, T.V. producers can film and make the finished product come out anyway they want. They would probably film each wife sitting in a truck while cruising around a large parking lot at 3 mph, then film a truck going down the interstate at 70 mph giving you the impression that the wifey is in that truck. It's T.V., right? Like in Fantasyland.
