I did one team load. Never again. Might have been the idiot driving but I remember spending a lot of my sleep time airborne. I finally got up and sat in the passenger seat. And went straight to sleep.
Lumper Humper, austinmike and Dave_in_AZ Thank this. -

First of all you are there to watch how he drives and learn things about the road .shifting ,routes etc ..so in my opinion you should not be sleeping .you should be in the passenger side .are you guys splitting driving .in this case he is using you as a team driver and that is not how it should be .you should all take the same 10 hour break .and get you enough driving time while he is watching abd enough backing time that is how u learn .farmerjohn64 Thanks this.

I don’t know what kind of training you do if you’re running like a team. Doesn’t sound like much training to me. It is very important if you do not want to run as a team to ask if that’s how their training program is. If you think team driving it’s not your forte, I would leave immediately. Otherwise try to stick it out and you’ll probably end up getting used to it. Truck driving is a very simple job. Doesn’t require too much training. Most of the things you’ll learn on your own. I ran with one feller for a week and then another for the same amount of time. There was no team driving.Otherwise the very little I did learn from the two, I wouldn’t have.
farmerjohn64 Thanks this.
