I always thought you had to had your permit in order before getting to a scale.

I put up the $2,00 bond for the first year.

I called and asked them if they could remove that requirement thereafter due to my consistent filing and paying of the tax for 4 quarters in a row. They did.

 

Oooo, be careful in Portland. Cops are busting heads and tear gas,,,by gar, that takes me back to the 60's,,,

 

I grew up there, have family and friends there and the cops aren't doing ####!

Am I reading this right? You you have to pay $2,000 bucks for the privilege of driving in Oregon if you do it on the regular? That $2000 MIGHT be returned to you after a year of on time payments?
