I was down in Fort Worth trying to deliver at Sygma. It had to be about 50 trucks trying to deliver there. I parked on the frontage road at 3pm and sent my arrival call. My appt was 10 pm. I sat in that line til well past 11. Empty at 4 am. I am on my back haul going to St. Peter's, MO, a Domino's load. I'll try to get to the yard or Craftsmen and see if they take it off of me. It was hotter than hell in Texas, it had to be at minimum 100 degrees. The reefer was working overtime to stay at 33. Robert called me when I was stopped to see what the paperwork said for the temp. I had it on cycle since it said 33 to 38 temp. He saw I had it on cycle and told me to run it continuous. That actually was the better move, because when I got back to the truck, the box temp went 46 that quick....i wonder what loads got screwed up to cost 30k?

Wow, that's crazy man. Some trucks you have to hold down the control button to get it to slide, others you'll have to let the landing gear down. If they gave you 2 fuel stops, I wouldn't fill up til the last one. 50 gallons each time

I'd imagine Climate would expect us to take what we deem is the safest method. They'd definitely rather you park than to take risks. Sometimes it's taken out of everyone's hands and certain states just lock down in extreme snow.

In all the trucks I've had here ya just dolly the legs down hard flip the slide switch then dump the tractor bags to release the slide pins on the 5th wheel. Its always worked real easy for me.

Yes when it comes to the weather it's been my experience here that climate respects the driver's call.
