As a kid I thought that steak sauce was always used because my grandpa would cook the hell out of a steak. Im talkin WELL done. As I got older and learned to grill I realized that a proper steak is the best when seared on the outside with the inside a nice shade of pink. And the thicker the cut the better.

I like to wash, pat dry then salt and pepper. Let it rest for 15-20min and absorb the salt & pepper, then coat in olive oil and slap it on the grill with the flames roling. Cook the outside, then shut up the grill and let smoke for about 15min. Pull, let them rest for 5min and chow down.

 

How do you get into hauling military freight for Uncle Sam? I’ve always liked knowing/seeing what I’m hauling and riding around with an APC or Blackhawk helicopter would be pretty cool (I want a Huey lol)

 

Rest for 5 minutes to let the juices settle I’m assuming, instead of cutting it open right away and it all ends up on your plate instead of inside the meat; I cook mine like that on a skillet too lol

 

I’ve got nothing better to do but sit here at Home Depot waiting for 4 pm to come around so I can order some Chinese food from, “Hong Kong Restaurant” lol I think I’m addicted to cream cheese wontons

 

I have some uninvited visitor show up at the shop...

Just read up on em. Doesn't seem like a bad dude to have around.. other than ick..

 

After driving down a wet dirty road this morning at slow speeds. Almost nothing. This tells the story for sure weather they are inside the fenders or not. Newly crafted mud flaps worked too. Nothing on the tanks or steps either.

Ima happy kamper for sure!
