I know a sw mb grain company that delivers own product In northern states USA then does an elevator run for USA farm customer or two then picks up a load for mb . A fact that people that work there laugh about.

How can legal grain haulers compete with this beats me, . There drivers think it’s ok as it’s extra miles and load/ unload $20 a time. Same bs as mentioned have a ca bol when running around . Instructed by the management to do it or find somwhere else to work, not lot o jobs in there area soooooo. , got the inside line from a friend who did a week refused to cabotage and left .

The FBI, CIA and LGBTQ will be knocking on your door shortly to gather particulars of this criminal activity

Let me explain, if I must. The OP is a Canadian, as far as we know anyway, who asked a question pertaining to his situation as a Canadian driver. Agreed?
So therefore this thread has to do, with his particular concern about the effect this could have on his career and life as a Canadian driver.
Do you suppose that the security of YOUR nation and criminals entering it, would best be decided by the politicians and law makers of YOUR country? So why not comment on that in the Politics forum and leave the Canadian forum, for Canadian driver issues and Canadians to discuss?

I would suggest that if you are directly affected by these laws, that you bring it to the attention of your transportation lobbyists in DC. They can then work towards finding a resolution.

BTW the OP and his equals are not criminals per se. I would suggest they are like the rest of us, just trying to earn a living, while working under what may be some shady enterprises and there are likely some that are also US citizens, only operating in a reverse situation.

The only way this could possibly be legal going by the places the OP mentioned it could be legal. If the load picked up in ND going to Cali was delivered to a port for export. Then the load in Cali picked up and delivered to a port in New Jersey for export. Then pick up a load in New Jersey at the port is being imported and can be delivered anywhere in the US. This is a grey area. So grey I believe it was written in pencil on recycled news print. So it is possible but probably not somewhere you want to work.

I was leased on to a company that tried to get me to grab a load in North Carolina and drop it in New Jersey. They said it was a grey area.
Funny thing was , if it was a grey area, how come they only asked owner operators to do it, never their own company trucks.
It was because if you got caught, your truck would be impounded, they didn't want their own trucks impounded.
I refused to do it. In the end they were fine with me turning it down. Which was a good thing, I was prepared to rat them out if they had of given me a hard time about it. I don't turn down any work, but I refuse to break the law for somebody else's profit.

That's probably a Canadian Bald Eagle. We have more of them per square mile in the Queen Charlotte's than there is in all of the USA.

It’s almost winter.... we need a wall at the northern border. At least that will keep the cold air out.......

Yup, logged on the coast for a few years. Lots of them hanging in the trees.
This one was photographed by my wife in August .19 along Nicola Lake, South of Merritt, BC.
