Well, they switched loads on me. Took OR boar's head off me and gave me the Fife run. At least they are equal, lol! Fife is easier anyway.

 

Welp, never heard from anybody at dispatch or at the broker. I've got a few hours left on my clock, but figured the TA in Sayre was just as good as anyplace to stop for a 34. I like the showers here and they're free 'cause I fuel up at TA/Petro pretty much exclusively.

Only downside is that there's not much in the way of breakfast options around these parts unless I want to eat a ptomaine-egg-and-cheese sandwich from the hotbox in the store. Which, granted, I've done before, but it's not my first choice.

Hopefully the receiver is cool with this load showing up a day late. It's a drop, so maybe they're fine with it. Maybe the delivery date has been rescheduled and nobody told me. All I know is that I ain't worried about it. I did my due diligence. Ball's in someone else's court.

We are hanging at home. Still no luck getting the front end looked at in a timely manner.

This 21 Volvo was issued to us with 5k on the clock. Pulled to the right a good bit, but these things seem to do that. At 44k, I asked W. Memphis to align it, and they made it worse. I told the tech that it pulls right, an annoying amount. An 11 o'clock hold keeps it straight on a flat road.

Seems there is a 1 to 3 day wait at Volvo dealers. I will keep trying.

 

Eventually a muscle in your back will start annoying you from holding the steering wheel over.

 

What in the world is going on,have a del in Jacksonville Sunday morning,and already have a preplan for after I'm unloaded.
