Curious of people's experiences training with Wilson Logistics to get their class A CDL. Anything stand out? Was it a good experience?

I haven’t heard much of anything bad about them. Seem pretty decent
SC-joe Thanks this. -
Wilson pulls Prime freight. I'm sure their training is based on the Prime model. I know a couple of Prime drivers that are very happy with their training and employment with Prime. Good luck!

You'll start with a few days of book learning, practicing your pre-trip, and getting some backing practice in. Usually by Wednesday/Thursday You'll go test for your permit, after acquiring your permit they will get you out with a trainer ASAP. Once you've gone with your trainer for 3-4 weeks you'll go test for your license, and if successful will go back out with a trainer for several more weeks.
I didn't go through it, but the rookies I met seemed better informed than those who come out of a "driving academy" where you drive in a circle allbday.SC-joe, 650cat425 and Dockbumper Thank this. -
I already have my permit and medical. What difference does that make?

Just makes the onboarding quicker. Start yard maneuvers and backing training sooner. Call and talk to some recruiters with several companies. You have lots of options
