I love WY. Hate the wind.

So do a lot of other folks. The wind helps to keep the population low.

But after 14 yrs of living here I'm a little more used to it and have learned how to deal with it.

Drivers let Dollar $igns take over and do not think safety. No load is worth a life. When the wind gets that strong, you need to be parked. Simple as that. No Excuse:biggrin_25510:

I would love to live there. Hopefully in a couple of years me and hubby will be moving there. I hope the drivers are alright.

I came through there last night pulling a 53' drybox with 15,000 pounds in it...It was pretty windy.

But as always I seemed to make it through.

We are usually loaded to the gills (that would be 40,000 lb in the reefer) so never a problem. Vans....yep they need to adhere to that high wind sign and park it.

Partner came through last night and maybe it's her speed because she never thinks it's windy. :biggrin_25524: Of course Colorado blows and Utah sucks what can you expect. :biggrin_25523:

Thanks for the post. This is a reminder that I need to change my route. I've got 8,000 lbs headed to WA from TX.
