Hopefully no one... One could hope that companies will require a minimum amount of time to know if said driver is actually able to train. If for no other reason than he needs to learn the policies and procedures of the new company before training.
Now that said, I'm sure there are some companies that will hire with the intent of training in a month or two one the "trainer" learns how the company works.JReding, gentleroger, TripleSix and 1 other person Thank this. -

Some do. With your 8 yrs. experience it shouldn't be a problem.
Think I saw an ad from US Express looking for trainers. -
Freymiller has a shortage of trainers; especially female trainers.
MidwestResident Thanks this. -
I was wondering whats the difference between trainer and regular driver in salary ? ..is it worth it ?! ...i think i would stress more worrying about person i am training vs just driving on my own !

when I went through prime’s school I think my trainer said he got $200 a week and $1000 bonus if I passed the test the first time, which I did[/QUOTE]

That was in the middle of 2015 so I don’t know about right now. -
You couldn't pay me enough to be a trainer. I am 100% solo. I like my privacy and a 10 hour break to myself daily.
