Disable Reverse Mute on Truck Stereo?

    Somewhere out West, in my mind.

    This is the 3rd or 4th truck I've had with the same truck stereo. It shows up when making a Bluetooth connection to my phone as DEA500. However, this is the first one to have the radio mute itself, a feature called Reverse Mute, while backing up. Anyone know how to disable that feature? I have looked at several online PDF manuals for this radio and none of them do more than mention or describe the "feature".

    Because when I shift out of reverse it starts my bluetooth audio playing. When I'm backing into very tight spaces and it takes multiple forward & reverses it causes me to manage my phone as much as drive the truck.
