Holy cow! Guess I'll stick with the Michelins. Those pics are nightmares.

I assume you guys have contacted Bridgestone Commercial truck tire corp. on that problem. They will want to inspect them and may pay for the damage if found to be a tire workmanship defect. Their inspection is pretty thorough. I went to their inspection center 10 years ago for training on their product.

Jesus, why would anyone continue to run a truck with steers that bad?? Better yet, how do any of those pass an inspection? That doesn’t just happen overnight!

Definitely happen "overnight". With more than 75% tread still on the tires, tires less than 4 months in use. Might just be a bad batch, but we're not taking any more chances. Taking all of them off as they come in. We have taken 3 back to Parkhouse for inspection, and the 4th truck (blue) is arriving soon with the latest one. Not a single sign of dame before the tread separation, so beware guys

Jesus, that’s crazy. I’ve never liked anything but Michelin’s on my steers. Think I’ll stick to them after seeing this.

The tread slinging off and taking out a fender is not fun. At least they still roll and didn’t rupture at the steel plies and lose air pressure. Any brand can do it. Seen it in Michelin as well.
Treads on new tires are put on the same way as retreads.

What did you guys do? Switch brands? Did bridgestone check them out and what was the outcome of their inspection?

    bzinger Thanks this.

    #### Jose, that SUCKS! Bad enough losing tires, worse on cab/hood etc.
Had one front tire blow out. Took half of fender, headlight bucket off hood.
Good luck with new tires. Please keep us informed on progress/results..
