We had a log trucker who drove until he was in his 80's. One of the best drivers around. He didn't need to work, he just loved hauling logs.Trucker61016, Bud A., mjd4277 and 1 other person Thank this.

What is the best way to be set up since you mention it? I’m an O/O leased on to a carrier. Just my truck for right now. I established an LLC recently. What else should I be doing as I look to the future?
Thanks.Trucker61016 Thanks this. -
I'd contact www.OOIDA.com about that.
I don't know the details, so don't want to speculate on something that important. -
Is it possible that he may have actually still enjoyed driving a truck? None of us know the full situation by reading an article about what happened.roshea, WildTiger1990, Trucker61016 and 3 others Thank this.

Well to be fair, there are a lot of middle aged truckers I've come across who have major anger issues and should retire immediately, its a ticking time bomb out on this road sometimes of, is this jerk gonna end up running into me or plowing into a line of traffic, just like this driver did......be safe.tommymonza, Bud A. and Snailexpress Thank this.
