That driver was 70 effin years old. He should sure as heck know better. It’s getting downright scary out here anymore.

 

Just few days ago got government notice my retirement age is 72.

 

We had a log trucker who drove until he was in his 80's. One of the best drivers around. He didn't need to work, he just loved hauling logs.

 

What is the best way to be set up since you mention it? I’m an O/O leased on to a carrier. Just my truck for right now. I established an LLC recently. What else should I be doing as I look to the future?

Is it possible that he may have actually still enjoyed driving a truck? None of us know the full situation by reading an article about what happened.

 

Well to be fair, there are a lot of middle aged truckers I've come across who have major anger issues and should retire immediately, its a ticking time bomb out on this road sometimes of, is this jerk gonna end up running into me or plowing into a line of traffic, just like this driver did......be safe.
