I dunno about Cats, but that looks like a 30-35K lb machine, which would make that tandem axle trailer overloaded, wouldn't it? Maybe a tridem would have kept it from flipping as well. What you'all think?

Article i read said 38k machine, i recall that it was a 20 foot tagalong.
Prolly a slightly longer trailer (24’) to accommodate a third axle would have made a difference.exhausted379, cke, Cat sdp and 6 others Thank this. -
Suppose it's a bit late to call the number on the back of the truck and report him for unsafe driving?

Too many drivers think they have to do as they're told, no matter what. They also buy into the "we ship it like this all the time", if they ever question what a loader does. We could on and on, but there is a serious lack of professionalism in our industry.

What ever happened to reading a tape measure? He would have been just fine with that lift on the deck and not the catwalk.

Some of these guys have hard enough time holding a steering wheel, and now u expect them to know how to read a tape measure ?!

I would enjoyed watching them loading that. Wonder how long it took?

As a cat relocation engineer, that’s a 316. A little over 39,000 lbs. A little heavy on them trailer axles.
