Before I got into trucking I was a bartender. My co-worker was from Rochester and she mentioned these garbage plates before. That girl ate some of the worst food you can imagine, and was about five foot ten and maybe 120 pounds.

Those are the ones that can drink a couple of beers and then eat a small city.

I found it pays to verify late appointments. I got one a few months ago and called the customer to see about spending the night there. They said I could, and I'd have to as they closed hours before the appointment time on the load notice.JOHNQPUBLIC Thanks this.

Pilot and Loves should be ashamed of their showers. Stopped at Trucker World exit 241 in Ohio on 90 yesterday. Needed a shower so I purchased one. Shower was huge sparkling and clean.

I love that place and usually always parking at anytime. Loves across the street can be totally jam packed and there will be 40 open spots at Truck World. Shhhhh, don't tell too many people!MIT Thanks this.

Working for a private fleet and delivering our own product I never worry about hours issues. It may benefit the grocery warehouse delivery folks.

Idk. I think the new split SB rules can come in handy. They'll at least make it a little easier to try to get in to a shipper or receiver when they're hit or miss about taking you early. Because if you have to sit 2 hours or more because they didn't take you early, you haven't wasted any of your 14.
