Truck auction ripoff? Odo delete?

Grandpa was driving it to church on sundays !

 

Even if the mileage is accurate its still priced about $120k high.

 

I thought 2007 was not a good year for emissions?

Or was that later trucks?

 

Depends. 2007 ENGINE year was the first for DPF. A lot of 2007 CHASSIS had 2006 model year engines.

 

Not in the day of $250k glider kits.

 

So why the low mileage?? Has it been in impound or something for a decade?

 

A friend of mine was at the last taylor Martin auction in Dakota city ne and said trucks were going for insane prices ..
.even maxforce powered pro stars were bringing 7k .

 

Likely used as local truck pumping off from a tanker moving around a yard somewhere. The only time it was on a public road was to fuel up.
Sure it's only 16k miles, but it's likely huge on the idle hours.

 

I’d say it was probably a garage queen. I know that place in Olive Branch bought a 2003 with 600 Cat from a farmer in Leoti KS a couple months ago that had under 100k on it. He would use it a little bit and other than that all it did was get polished and driven to local truck shows.

 

You'd have to be on coke to piss that kind of money away!
