Hi. Im Mike. I live in St. Louis, Mo. I am currently an out of work driver. I was laid off from CR England in January (wasnt thrilled with them anyways). After the layoff I drove a straight truck locally for a few months till I got laid off there. Managed to find a regional dedicated to KC and back every night, but that only lasted a week. Turns out they hired me to cover an expiring contract. Now Im just working side odd jobs to make money to make ends meet. I would rather be back behind the wheel grinding gears on the open road.

stlwaco, welcome to the forum. Not sure of the things which may help or hinder your furture employment, however, best advice for an experienced driver is: apply, apply, apply.

I have been applying since January and nothing good. Not even Schnieder will take me. Im gonna pay to have my DAC pulled and see what England put on there that is keeping me out of a rig. -
Sounds like a good idea to see what your DAC says. Have you made any follow up calls to the companies that have turned you down and asked why? Sometimes you can get helpful feedback from them.
