    I need to understand something.

Ive taken tractors PC all the time thanks to generous employers who tell me to show up sunrise monday ready to run with fuel back at the yard. Ive been 6 states with it in those days sometimes. (Northeast) No one ever bothered me then. If it's PC to say the west coast that is where Im a going.

None of this 47 mile BS. Where does that even come from? That means chapter and verse out of the green book please.

The moderator did a good job placing that down stating there is few limitations to PC.

Finally to OP, if a company is so bad and controlling what does that make you? By staying there you are part of the problem and will either be eliminated when you are OOS by DOT or you are removed from employment when it becomes apparent the so called owner is not going to get what he wants out of you.

I believe the 47 miles comes from Canada, they specify how far you can PC.

How far can I go on personal conveyance?
The daily limit is up to 75 kilometers, almost 47 miles, for using a CMV for personal conveyance. In the United States, however, no limit is currently set. Obviously, traveling hundreds of miles isn't going to be considered personal conveyance by a DOT inspector.

Yes Wipeour is a total ######## company. They lie worse than little kids about everything. I got terminated for no reason at all well I think I know why I refuse to haul a hazmat load 1200 mile without hazmat endorsements. 1100 to 1200 mile over night in the exempt trucks. #### them in their ###.

When he did an online search about Personal Conveyance ,he probably brought up Canadian laws and didn't realize it ; or maybe he's Canadian ?

This is an Internet forum. You might get the info you want, you might not.

But one thing is for sure - this site doesn't exist to cater to you. Just be happy you were able to dredge up a dead thread from three years ago and glean what information you did.

Heck you might even get unsolicited offers to lease a truck from BYOB&CBD, the smartest choice a business savy trucker can make.
