Quick question about job

Not enough money to work nights for me.

 

i basically always worked nights, but it messes up your circadian rhythm.

it's been over a year since i retired, and i still cannot get a good nights sleep.

but i loved nights, less traffic, and if any construction, many times easier ways to get around it.

many times, no scale houses open.

i'd stick with UPS over Schneider. better retirement plans, health benefits, etc.

 

UPS has the best benefits and retirement plan.

 

You'll have more opportunity for other lane opportunities at ups as you build seniority. You'll have better benefits and retirement options. Keep in mind that starting pay is just a beginning. Give it time an you'll be making more. I've watched some of their recruiting videos. Ups is definitely a pay your dues company but if ya can get on an stick it out regardless of any random bs then your brass ring will show itself in the long term. Just my 2 cents anyways. I'd be there in a heartbeat if i qualified.

 

That's what I, personally, would do.

 

I'd still go with UPS as a non-union driver over Schneider intermodal. Maybe in the future can move into a union job.
