They are a great company with 2yr experience a must. Pay is low but home time is outstanding like 16 17 days out 4 days home if you want long runs 1400 average pay is only. $0.45 a mile trucks are newer but not owner OPERATOR spec. Benefits are good

I work for denney transport out of Denver. We run all over. Base pay is .52 plus a ton of extra pay for stops and whatnot. Take a load out of Denver, next load 99% of the time goes back to Denver. Very easy to do $80k+. I have a full thread on them on here Denney Transport Denver CO
    Feel free to ask anything.

Base on a lot of the comments on this thread, nobody actually answering the guy's questions! Sounds more like recruiting, and getting a driver referral bonus then anything!

I'll answer some of his questions

    1. Look for a company that run the freight lanes you like. Some freight lanes pay better than others depending of the season, and part of the country (Example: A lot of produce comes out of Central California)

    2. Look at the equipment they run. Is it new or old but well maintained. Break downs effect you money big time.

    3. Look at the type of freight they haul. Some Refer freight pays better then others, also depends on the season and the part of the country.

    Better paying Refer Companies

    1. They haul their own freight

    2. They have a number of facilities around the country

    3. They pay for everything you do, plus full benefits, paid time off, vacation and etc.

    4. They have late model trucks and trailers. Trucks with converters, APU, refrigerator, and etc. Refer Trailers with the latest quiet and smart technology Refer units.

    5. No slip seating

    6. A least 65% Drop/hook

    7. Flex hometime

Remember a number of the best refer companies don't advertise so do your research!

There is much more information. That will help you maximize your earnings pulling refers on the company driver side. On the O/O there is a lot more.

Qucik note: take some time and write out a list of requirements, wants, and likes, and dislikes about a company and search for Refer companies that fit what your looking for. Not all Refer companies are the same. Some have nice trucks, but their pay is very poor. Or the people are nice, but the equipment is junk! Bottom line do your research and find what works for you!

Shaffer is a plain good reefer company. Watchout for their point system though.
