in theory yes but there is just too many variables to make an educated decision.......
Experienced drivers will know exactly what i mean, but i will try to explain.....
    I make .40 cpm i average 3500 miles per week =1400.00 net
teams make .50 cpm a good week they get 7000 miles = 3500.00 split = 1750 each net
that is what i make and the team making .50 cpm is really unheard of but some get that if not more....
Not all teams will not average 7000 miles per week some weeks you might get 2800 because of slow freight, breakdown, etc.....
There will always be variables unless you are on an dedicated route.....
And now you have to consider how the team is payed not all teams split down the middle it is how ever the team is structured.... Ie. Is the team an newbie just released from school, just kicked loose out of training.... Many different scenarios to go off of.....
Again you have to research the companies and learn the different policies of each to make an educated decision .....

To answer you .... Point blank..... Some weeks yes .... Other weeks no....
My self i would not team but good luck to you!

    Prime ......
Pennies per miles that you run when you recruit new drivers........
Now thats something to cheer for.......
No wonder there is sooooo many cheerleaders ........
And it explains why any anti prime threads are attacked......

I was right and continue to be right.......
If there was no money in it they would not be cheering on the newbies...
And only the newbies sing the praises.......

Newbies students be warned and do the research......

    Referral Bonus:
The easiest money you can make with Prime is through their driver referral program! Here's the earnings breakdown for driver referrals:

    • You will receive $250 after your referral receives their first dispatched load
    • You will receive a mileage incentive (based on experience classifications)
    • For each driver that you refer that drives for Prime for 90 days, you will receive a "credit".
    • Once you accumulate 3 credits, you will receive 1 week FREE truck payment
    • When you accumulate 10 credits, Prime will pay your truck payment for 13 weeks!
    • Once you reach 20 credits, Prime will pay your truck payments for an entire YEAR! (3/4 of your referrals must qualify as a solo or lead seat driver in order to receive use of the ambassador truck for 52 weeks free.)
Example: If you refer 8 teams and 5 solos, you will earn approx. $72,590.50 (based off of teams averaging 5,000 miles and solos averaging 2,500 miles)
*See brochure for specific rules and details. (Earned credits must occur with a rolling 52 week period)
    *Subject to change without notice.
WITH RECRUITING DOING THIS I GUESS I CANT BLAME THE CHEERLEADERS AT ALL!!!!!!!!
    YEA TEAM!!!!!!!!!!..................

Now lets sit back and watch the cheerleaders ........
    1. Come back with something like i do not attempt to attract any one to join prime.
    2. They might say i do not use this site as an recruiting tool and do not ask any ones personal info and sure would not give out my name and truck number so i could gain from it.
    3. Come back with personal attacks.
    4. Do nothing and pretend it does not matter. (which i highly doubt)
    5. Take a day or two to over think an clear cut and proper attempt at debunking my last 2 posts..... ( of course being cordial in the beginning and ending in disaster )
    6. Cheer on baby cheer on!!!!!! ( hahahahaha )

    Who's "attacking" your BS...

Just pointing out that you are wrong, and a disgruntled former employee. BTW... did you ever get "re-employed?" Guess Maverick wasn't interested...

About what? That you don't have the discipline to drive someone else's truck according to their rules?

Well... don't know what you're talking about - I haven't ever solicited or received a referral bonus.

Yeah do the research... don't get sucked into the serious bottom feeders like Swift, JB Hunt, Werner, US Express, Covenant, PTL, Stevens Transport.

Say... don't you have anything better to do? Like find a job???

and the wheels on the truck go round and round......
mabey this thread will open some eyes to the truth behind prime and its cheering section......
or all you would have to do is go to primes home page and read it for your self and read between the lines you should get a pretty clear picture of the problems with in prime itself!

My job in the military was never to attack the individual but to go to the root of the matter and attack the entire company.......

You get the job done faster that way!!!!!

    Field artillery!

I am just bringing that way of thinking to my thread!!!!!
