I have applied to work for LGT and I am waiting to hear back from them. I have pulled tanks with baffles and smooth bore food grade. Just wondering how bad the surge is?

Front to back? Non existent or at least not noticeable ... side to side.. same as any other baffled tanks. I liked it.. its like hauling water... really really cold water.. The training was pretty decent, I hauled Oxygen, Nitrogen and Argon.. Oxygen is considered a drug, so you have to be certified etc etc

Ke6gwf, leolion93, Rugerfan and 1 other person Thank this. -
I like the sound of no front to back surge. Really trying to see if I can get into cryo, food grade has too many downsides, surge being one of them.

Yeah.. the one lunger's are no fun.. especially in the winter..Redtwin Thanks this.

Seriously? What's up with that?

Inhaling high concentrations of pure oxygen will kill you.

Mostly you deliver it to hospitals and water treatment plants.. if they are using it for humans in medical situations or in water treatment, you have to be trained to deliver it to not contaminate it etc etc.
-
That's true of practically all gases. A side benefit to hauling this stuff is that you can leave a water bottle in the back compartment and it will freeze it.. Its also nice on a 100 degree day to just stay near all the frozen valves.. lol

OK, now that makes sense. Thank you for clearing that up for me.

And when you are outside attending a delivery when it's 29 below out you just know it could always be worse.
