Does USX take on female trainees who have a permit? I sent my app in to them today. I know it will take a few days for them to reply, but I'm guessing they will be like the others I have heard back from; "no females without a trainer already in place", or "only taking trainees who already have their Class A license". A couple of months ago I was told by Roadmaster they had a waiting list for trainers, as there were not enough for the trainees wanting to go there.

Teddy bear, i drove for usx back in '07 and as far as i remember, you already had to have your class a license. Things could've changed since then though, so the best thing to do is call and ask them.

    teddy_bear6506 Thanks this.

Well I'm not otr but I do run dollar tree dedicated out of Joliet, IL. I've been doing it for the last 8 months. I got no major complaints. I get home on the weekends, which is a plus. My dispatch is good. I usually get 1500-2000 miles a week plus unload pay. I have no complaints but thats just me. Im here to do a job and thats what I do. I would recommend them to anyone who wants to run dedicated. Can't speak about otr cause I'm not sure.

Dear Truckers wife most modern day large trucking companies usually have there own web site these days eg US express, FFE , JB HUNT to name a few they also usually have the pay rates for company drivers listed on the web page as well as contrater rates if not just ring the recruiters and simply ask them what rate you'd start on with just 3 months exp my guess would be not to good i started with a company back in 05 but that was in the boom time they started us at 0.31 a mile with no experience but that was exceptionally generous the company was LW Miller they do have a web site too if you want to check them out i found them very good to work for not as big as US express or Swift but thats good cause you actually get to know the staff on a one to one basis well hope that was helpful see ya

    Regards
