Who bought a house with trucking money?

One trucker i knew had 5 houses, English luxury cars, yacht, accounts. Federals took everything in exchange for GPS ankle bracelet. Future is unclear.

 

Owner op myself and been thru the truck bumper to bumper ...truck paid off in April and 780 credit score ...will buy house about this time next year and semi retire .

I’m only in my second year but my 1st rookie year was a wash this second rookie year I’m doing wonderful and if it’s a indication of the next decade I shall be safe to purchase several rental homes and get into real estate.

 

the wife and i bought our house, then we gave x amount to all 5 of our kids, as down payment money for thier houses, as well as college or technical schooling, when they were younger.

we have had numerous new cars, pick up trucks, motorcycles, all on a company driver's salary.

so, having money for a house is no big deal. the big deal is how you save and spend.

everyone wants the toys first.....which is not bad thinking, however, buying a house, it starts earning equity right away, rather than losing money on things that depreciate.....right away.

 

I bought a house on acreage in MS, own all my vehicles and toys, etc. I also own my truck and trailer. Right now, we are looking at a second house and possibly some rental investments.

All done by way of trucking.
