Yeah I was thinking that maybe the springs were bad to.. we replaced the shocks they were bad real bad... we just got the truck not long ago. I was thinking that the air bags are not adjusted properly they look like they may not be fully extended but then I seen some other bags on other cascadias and they look like they are sitting the same and inflated to the same spot. But that could be diff reason for that to. Could the leveling valve be bad or they not be adjusted correctly and causing the ride to be affected as I hit bumps ?. Like the air coming out of them as I am going down the road and hitting bumps? Before we replaced the shocks amd even a couple times now I hear the truck bottoming out or what I think is bottoming out. Not real sure I definitely do not hear it much now but I could swear I heard it once the other day... but if that's the case why would that affect the front end hitting so hard almost like it don't have shocks and it has new ones !
Sliding axles.... One hole = how much weight?

I've always been overweight on ####. Worked oilfield for last 20 yrs and never mattered to us so to speak. But now I'm in diff situation and I need to be rightLast edited by a moderator: Nov 2, 2020

12,500 is not overweight unless you got the lesser rated steer axle.
The newer Cascadia i drove was rated for 13,000. -

I was told it was 12k.. maybe that's what the issue is then...idk I'll have to do more checking. Also I think the 5th wheel maybe a notch to far back

Look on the sidewalls of your steer tires. The weight rating is embossed there. X2 gives you the front steer axle maximum rating.

The door jam says also.
And if the boss buys the correct tires. Will match the door.
