Actually I think they just got tired of arguing...
cactusjack Thanks this. -
well it is really hard to argue about the facts on their company site......
On just that point alone it would be an up hill battle......
I only restarted missouri's thread on the count of how it was ended by argumentation and how words were twisted to get that thread closed .....
Now the truth is out .....
The next thing that i am going to do is apply at prime!!!!!!!
Hahahahaha.......just kidding.Missouri_ Thanks this. -
I don't even drive for Prime, but use me (ha, ha) for a referral. -I want to get paid !!
This fighting among bottom-feeder fleeces is quite humorous. -but I still believe CRE is the bottom no matter what anyone says. Fleece me once -Shame on you, but never twice. -
I believe most of these upset fleecers are ex-trainers who aren't getting that training money anymore. -Instead of getting upset they should be thinking of a new scam.
-
personally speaking i would never fleece ..... Especially right now.
I believe fleecing is just like going to rent a center and buying an 600 dollar tv for 104 weekly payments of 50 dollars a week do the math.......
Now when it comes to prime their morals are to be heavily scrutinized...... The way they conduct business and how they handle their drivers ...... Prime is nothing but an revolving door and it is structured that way...... Read my posts prior to this one and go to their web site ..... Take your time and read through everything.... Some of it sounds good, some of it sounds too good to be true, and for the experienced drivers we know what it means to wait until you get to orientation to find out more details......
Personally if i can help just one person not make an mistake as i have known many drivers making in this company and the likes, i will have felt my time has not been wasted here. -

ONLY THE NEWBIES SING THEIR PRAISES!!!!!!! -
Anyone considering working for prime better be ready to also become a CUSTOMER of prime. prime has managed to turn every employee and contractor into a customer of their "services".
The newbies sing the praises because they have not yet found how deep the prime rabbit hole goes. prime is a bottom feeder. -
Things that stand out:
-truck payment ~3800$ a month --> that will kill you right there
-freight rates way below $1 a mile (if not a good %) --> killer #2
-team reefer get paid less than solo --> first time I heard that one
With fuel at ~$2.50/6mpg ~41.65cpm fuel alone
truck payment $3800/10,000 miles ~38cpm
=I would rather risk it mechanically with a 2002-2004 Shaker that can be had for 14-20k and get 6-7mpg. At least that way you are taking home a paycheck. -
You're looking at the minimum rate guarantee... 85/81 cpm minimum per loaded mile for solos/teams. That's a minimum. For reefer ops, they are paying 72% of the load linehaul revenue plus 100% of the collected fuel surcharge. So it's more than what you are saying here.
I pulled a high value hazmat load a couple of months ago that worked out to $6.91 per mile. Being company I didn't get that, but it's not all lemons.
For comparison, Landstar deducts 35% of whatever you make...
