i'm not "aint-everything", i'm just aint anything that's stupid like thisand the other thing where "company drivers" want to bring pets otr with them is some of the dumbest ##### i ever heard. Trust me, a company has no problem to drop a driver over dumb things like this and an other thing, the boys out here won't hesitate to ticket u either so u know the law if u choose to go against that law don't get on here and complain and whine about it, if your going to do it be ready to pay the fine because u know what the law is. U don't see me whining about the speed limit on here because when i get pulled over i'm ready for the "consequence" because i knew the law.

Where exactly did you learn to speak English? It’s ANTI not AINT. Also 99% of companies allow COMPANY drivers to still smoke in their vehicles. Some also allow pets as riders following their deposit. Maybe if companies are going to be firing people over "dumb" things they should begin with an IQ test to see who is competent enough to actually work for them. If you can't read or write very well how are you expected to follow posted signs giving information?

I don't smoke...never have. I appreciate the opportunity to go into a restaurant and not have to deal with the smoke.

    However....

This ticket is totally bogus. Even if it's a company tractor, every company I've done time with allows smoking in their units. If I go home every month for five days, that still leaves over 300 days per year of, yes, living in that truck. As far as I'm concerned, spending that large a proportion of my life in any one place qualifies it as my home, and fortunately most companies agree.

(BTW...I do enjoy good quality pipe tobacco!)

Please come out from under whatever rock you've been living under and get with the real world. No smoking in company vehicles/buildings in OTR trucking? Do you think because we are federally regulated (#2 heaviest regulated industry second only to the "nucUlar" boys) we have to follow some stupid government intruistic policy when we basically LIVE in our trucks?

    HELLO....HELLO....ANYBODY REALLY HOME THERE?:biggrin_25521:
